MTmomof2: Greetings to all! My name is Allison Bakken and I have been teaching elementary school grade 14 years. I grew up in Minnesota, but now live in the most beautiful state in the country, Montana! My dream of working with children and living in the mountains has been fulfilled. I continue to strive for excellence with teaching and motivating future educators. I recently finished my Masters in Education, Integrating Technology into the Classroom. I enjoy the great outdoors as well as the virtual world. Here are some other facts about myself: I… - Graduated college from MSU- Bozeman in 2003 - Became a STAR Discovery Educator in 2008 - Received my Masters from Walden University in 2008 - Got married in 2006 on a ski hill! - Has a daughter named Alexandra and a son named Anders and a golden retriever named Rusty - Love to ski, swim, camp, be a kid, waste time of the internet, watch documentaries - Enjoy reading, technology, family-time and music - Would say my favorite teacher was Mrs. Pickering my 5th grade teacher -Love being a Catholic and am blessed from God for my life experiences
